When placing your home on the market it is important to remember that first impressions are often the most lasting, so remember to take a close look at the outside of you home as well as the inside giving the property that all important "curb appeal" that will invite the potential buyers in.

Inside your home try to maximise the space that your property has to offer by getting rid of all that unwanted clutter. It is not necessary to go as far as the old baking bread and fresh coffee routine but do keep all rooms as clean and tidy as possible.

We would not advise you to spend too much money on getting your home prepared for marketing however by finishing some of those little long awaited jobs you will feel more confident showing potential buyers around your property
